Important fact: all yoga mats are not created equal.

There are countless types of yoga mats on the market, however when it comes to choosing one, it’s important to weigh the pros and cons of each, and make your evaluation based on your needs.

I’m in love with my Manduka pro. I’ve had it for more than 4 years and have spent lots of hours on it. I am allergic to so many things and this is the only mat that did not break my hands out or break down from a LOT of use!

My Manduka mat is close to 10 years old! I don’t know if it was a Pro, but for me it has performed like a pro. Mine is black, and it is thicker and heavier than other mats but I love it! I have hard toenails that ate other mats but my mat still looks great. It has been used hard but it shows little wear and tear. For outdoor yoga it gets too hot, so I have an alternative mat for outdoor yoga.
