I wasn’t aware of the huge culture surrounding herbal supplements until we tried Moon Juice. I have dabbled in them here and there: fish oil tablets, which seems great in hindsight with all the Omega 3’s — that is until you accidentally burp up something that tastes like week-old mackerel, yuck; vitamins; and I even fell victim to the acai and superfruit tablet craze of 2012. But Moon Juice was something new to me entirely.
We were excited to try them, and had no idea what we were getting ourselves into until I read the ingredients from our three jars, Beauty Dust, Brain Dust and Power Dust. Wow! Tons of vitamins and nutrients. Here’s what the was inside my favorite one, the Beauty Dust: Lycium (Goji) Berry Powder, Schisandra Berry Powder, Rehmannia Root Extract, Ashwagandha Root and Leaf Extract, Amla Berry Extract, Pearl Extract, Stevia Leaf Extract (Reb A).
Everything in there checks out as being simply good for you. It places emphasis on combating the effects of stress to bring out your glow from within. And since all the ingredients check out as all-natural and simply good-for-you, what could you possibly lose… you are what you eat, right?
I thought it would taste like the ingredients sounded — straight from the Earth, which wasn’t particularly appealing. But you’ll see in the video, each dust dissolves easily and has a light, refreshing taste that doesn’t even come close to assaulting the senses. It was actually very tasty! This is a wellness trend that I could definitely get into.
