Artist, musician and yoga-lover, Moby, has just blessed the yogi community with 4 hours of free yoga and meditation music.
Available for download on his website, the calming and atmospheric sounds are apparently part of a collection of songs and sounds Moby had originally created for himself. He described the journey of creating Long ambients1: calm. sleep. and wrote “over the last couple of years i’ve been making really really really quite music to listen to when i do yoga or sleep or meditate or panic. i ended up with 4 hours of music and have decided to give it away”. It should come as no surprise that the vegetarian yogi would create something like this, as he’s no rookie to the yoga lifestyle.
The playlist, which contains 11 songs, is perfect for sleeping, yoga and meditation music because it’s “really quiet: no drums, no vocals, just very slow calm pretty chords and sounds and things”. Listen below and let us know what you think!
