Did you know 1 in every 5 individuals fall into a clinical diagnosis such as depression, anxiety or an eating disorder in their lifetime? Much of this is caused by the media and their unrealistic expectations of what a human body should look like, in addition to personal trauma and experiences.
We’re raising awareness for mental health and promoting body positivity by trying to smash that statistic by literally getting on our heads with #InvertYourMindset Challenge on our Instagram page.
Joining the challenge is easy, and you can start anytime between May 15 and May 29 to still qualify for the prizes!
Step 1: Sign up for the challenge by entering your email in the form below. It’s how we’ll reach you if you’re selected as a winner!
Step 2: Repost the graphic above on your own Instagram page and tag @yoga_lifestyles and use #InvertYourMindset hashtag somewhere in your caption to let us know you’re joining. Follow all the hosts and sponsors, and be sure that your Instagram is set to public or we won’t know you’re participating!
Step 3: Follow along by posting photos or videos of the inversions. Do as many as you can but make sure you’re being safe and listening to your body! Be sure to tag the hosts and sponsors too.
Most importantly, HAVE FUN! Feel free to get creative in your environment and your captions. You are raising awareness and promoting body positivity!
