Child’s Pose

Benefits of the Child’s Pose: Most importantly, this pose calms the brain and helps relieve fatigue and stress. It eases back and neck pain when the torso and head are supported.

  • Start by sitting on your heels;
  • Lower your head to the mat and move your arms in front of you and under your forehead;
  • Relax and take deep breaths in and out;
  • Focus.

Modifications: If it’s more comfortable for you, move your arms alongside your legs instead of under your head.
